45 slides from 1967-68. Most show steam in its dying days in northern England, mainly at Hest Bank but also a few at Ribblehead and at Newton Heath shed (26A) in Manchester. There are also 1967 pictures of Deltic D9009 Alycidon and Warship D804 Avenger.

Preservation was well under way, and there are pictures of 46115 Scots Guardsman at Haworth, a Leeds - Derbyshire railtour in which haulage was shared by 45593 Kolhapur and 3442 The Great Marquess, and of 70013 Oliver Cromwell at Ribblehead on BR's 'Fifteen Guineas' ultimate steam-hauled special on 11 August 1968.

40 photos, most featuring the last days of Southern (and London) steam at Nine Elms, Waterloo and Vauxhall. Photo quality is mediocre, but the long gone subject matter justifies publication.

A small collection of steam photos at locations, mainly sheds, from Ayr to Aberdeen, featuring three A4s, two A2s - and Highland 103 and Caledonian 123.

Steam and some diesel photos (black and white) taken during a 1966 rail tour from Bradford to Glasgow and back via Ais Gill and Beattock (both ways). It was hauled by Jubilee 45565 Victoria throughout. To make a day of it, the tour included visits to Kingmoor, Polmadie and Eastfield sheds!
